GREEN ISLAND

Green Island is a small town in northwestern Jamaica, located on the west coast between Negril and Lucea.

It is located in the parish of Hanover, near Orange Bay.

Green Island was once a thriving market town.

Sugar and other produce items were exported in small schooners from the five or six wharves that were located in the harbor.
